OUR STORY

Ed and Meg met 14 years ago. Our journey together has been filled with laughter, love, and countless unforgettable memories. Two years ago, we moved from Hackney to Brentwood, Essex—starting a new chapter in a new home.
Then, on April 8th, 2023, during a trip to the Philippines, Ed finally popped the question, and Meg said "YES!" They couldn’t be more excited to take this next step together.
We are thrilled to share this special moment with our wonderful family and friends, and we can’t wait to celebrate our love and the next chapter of our journey with all of you!

OUR COAT OF ARMS

You might have noticed our very over-the-top coat of arms (yes, we know, we’re a bit extra—haha). But there’s a story behind it! Meg designed the illustration to symbolise the things that we both love, and we thought a little breakdown might be fun for anyone who’s curious, We hope you enjoy this little nod to our personalities

The Supporters
To the left, is Edwards dog, Shamrock, who was part of Ed’s childhood and lived with us in Hackney, keeping us company in lockdown until he passed away. To the right, is an elephant, Meg’s favourite animal since she was little—and a symbol of good luck.
The Motto
Our motto, “Omnes sonos magna”, translates to “All sounds great.” It’s a saying we say to each other all the time, reminding us to keep things light-hearted and positive!
The Sheild
Our shield is a tribute to the things we love most:
-
Music (especially karaoke—yes, we’re those people),
-
Fizz (champagne or Prosecco, always!),
-
Tim Burton
-
And Ed’s heritage—half Filipino and half Irish roots.
The Helmet
The helmet is made of ‘the Mandalorian’ from Star Wars as they are both fans and 'this is the way!'
The Crest
And lastly, two fish in love at the top. Being Pisces, it represents both of us and our shared connection.
We can't wait to celebrate with you!
